Although we are nearly 3,000 miles apart, we are closer than most. We are approaching 13 years of close friendship that preceded marriage, college graduation, three moves in opposite directions and the birth of seven children. This is our story. Welcome to our blog!
beautiful photos, thanks, makes me wish my girls were young again... only briefly though, they are wonderful young women making their way in the world and i love them and am proud of them as much today as when they were the ages of your children in the photos
@ Jo Windmill We had some serious rain leading up to our trip & the forecast looked pretty grim...BUT it cleared up just for us & JUST in time! It was magical! So beautiful! Great to see you hear! Love your blog too! AND my dear friend over @ Ms. Ellaneous (http://ms-ellaneous.typepad.com/) made my daughter those very knit bonnets from Last Minute Knitted gifts (http://www.amazon.com/Last-Minute-Knitted-Gifts-Joelle-Hoverson/dp/1584793678)!! They are EVEN more amazing in person! I still put her in them even though they are a tad on the small side--a year later!!
@ elaine, Thank you for your lovely words. I am awestruck at how quickly these children are growing! I have three boys and baby Beatrice. Bea & Liam are both in the photos as well as Bridge's two girls, Kathryn & Claire. My oldest boy will be a teenager come September. I can't believe it! Last night I showed him how to use an herbal antiseptic after he washes his face (breakouts). It was so bizarre. I remember just yesterday showing how to hold a spoon for the first time and now pimples!
